Junior sprint standout returns for his third season eager to return to his 2016 All-American form…advanced to the 2017 NCAA East Preliminary meet in both the 100 and 4×100 for the second consecutive year….Jamaican standout reached the ACC finals in both the 60-meter dash indoors and 100-meter dash outdoors, while also contributing to the silver medal 4×100 relay.

Second-year Nole who rode a fast finish as a freshman to second-team All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100 and as member of the 4×100…runner-up at ACC Outdoor Championships in the 100 and as member of 4×100…Jamaican standout at the core of young sprint group under coach Ricky Argro.


Indoor – Competed in both the 60m and 200m throughout the season…participated in four meets including the ACC Championships…placed third in the 60 at the Clemson Invitational in 6.78; his second-best time of the season…was fifth in the 60 at the ACC Championships after logging a season-best 6.74 in the prelims. Outdoor – Competed in eight meets, primarily in the 100 and on the 4×100 relay…advanced to a pair of 100-meter finals, finishing seventh at both the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and the ACC Outdoor Championships…won the 100 at the FSU Relays in a season-best and collegiate-best 10.34…member of 4×100 relay which qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary at the Seminole Twilight (40.19)…the Noles’ 4×100 was second at the ACC Championships and finished 14th at the East Preliminary, where they ran a season-best 39.71.



Indoor – Closed first indoor season of his life with fourth-place finish at ACC Championships in 60 (6.77) after qualifying for final in PB 6.69…placed seventh in 200 after PB (21.77)…best finish was third in 60 at Conference Clash/Power 5 Invitational (6.79). Outdoor – Came up short of the finals in his NCAA Outdoor Championships debut in the 100 and 4×100…was 16th through 100-meter (10.36) qualifying, while 4×100 (39.60) was 13th with Clarke handling third leg…auto qualifier in 100 at NCAA East matching SB (10.35) for runner-up quarterfinal heat finish…handled third leg on 4×100 which turned in SB 39.53 to qualify sixth for NCAA Championships…stepped up with silver medal 100m performance at ACC Championships in slightly windy 10.27…silver medal relay checked in with 39.72 at ACC Championships…member eighth-place Penn Relays Race of Champions 4×100…SB 200 (21.25) came at Seminole Invitational…earned NCAA East qualifying spot in season-opening FSU Relays for both the 100 (10.36) and as part of 4×100 (39.41).


Leadoff leg for 2015 high school world record Calabar High 4×100 (39.08) at ISSA champs…bronze medalist at 2014 World Junior Championships in 4×100 (39.12)…silver medalist in 100 at 2014 CAC Games in 10.48…silver medalist in 100m at Boys & Girls Championships…won Great Southwest 100  (10.22-w) at Albuquerque, N.M. and also won 4x100m gold…son of Shernett McDowell… intends to major in sport management…born September, 9,1995.
