Cross Country: Competed in five cross country meets in his return to collegiate competition as a graduate student while serving active duty in the Navy…finished 26th at the ACC Championships, contributing to the Noles fifth-place team finish…earned All-South Region honors for the second time in his career with a 24th-place finish, helping the Noles to a fourth-place finish. Indoor: Saw action in two meets…recorded a new personal-best in the 3000 at the Razorback Invitational (8:33.48). Outdoor: Opened his final collegiate season by posting an NCAA East qualifying 10,000m mark (29:56.34) – also a personal-best – at the Stanford Invitational…was 10th at ACC Championships in the 10,000…finished 30th in his NCAA East debut in the 10,000.
Cross Country: Consistently ranked among the top three among Noles throughout the season…earned All-ACC honors for the first time, placing 19th (24:13.1, 8k) in front of family and friends as FSU hosted the conference meet for the first time at Apalachee Regional Park…followed with a 14th-place finish to earn All-South Region honors as the Noles won the team title to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships…was FSU’s top finisher at NCAA Championships (107th)…opened season with third-place finish at Covered Bridge Open and runner-up performance at FSU Invitational. Indoor/Outdoor: Missed both track seasons due to an injury sustained in December.
Cross Country: First-year member of the team posted three top-10 finishes before season was derailed by illness…followed fourth-place finish at Virginia Challenge in his collegiate debut by placing eighth at Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational…secured spot among top five when he ran 24:13.4 for five miles at Notre Dame Invitational…was FSU Invitational runner-up on the course he grew up competing on…was No. 5 runner for Noles at NCAA South Region, helping secure NCAA Championship spot. Indoor: Saw first-ever indoor action, competing in four meets, including the ACC Championships…debuted at Razorback Invitational with third-place finish in 5000 (14:30.03)…established a new personal-best in the 5000 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (14:27.87). Outdoor: Competed in three meets, exclusively in the 10,000…cracked the 30-minute standard for first time in his season opener at Stanford Invitational (29:56.75)…two weeks later won his heat at Mt. SAC Relays (30:01.99).
Outdoor: Earned a spot on the team late in the season…quickly demonstrated his promise, winning his FSU debut at the Seminole Invitational in the 5000 (14:56.02)…placed fourth in the 10,000 a the Virginia Challenge (30:41.6).
Since graduating from FSU in 2016 has served in the United States Navy…in fall of 2016 he scored a half marathon victory in 1:06.50 at the Boston (Ga.) Mini-Marathon…followed up by running 29:59 10,000 outdoors at the Raleigh Relays, which followed an indoor 3000 PB (8:25) at the Samford Open…starred at Wakulla High where he finished eighth at the 2A state cross country championships and seventh in the 3200 on the track as a senior…member of the National Honor Society, ROTC and junior class president at Wakulla…also competed in wrestling…earned a spot on the FSU roster on his second attempt after dominating the local road-racing scene through his first two years of college…outstanding student completed his undergraduate degree in mathematics as a part of the ROTC program in 2016…born Dec. 21, 1993.
