Ambrose capped off her sixth double-digit kill outing of the season by posting a .360 attack percentage versus the Hokies … enjoyed one of her best all-around performances of the season against Pittsburgh (Oct. 16) as she emerged with 10 kills, seven blocks (six assisted blocks) and four digs … drove home six kills in 16 attempts at Miami (Oct. 19) before closing a sweep of Virginia (Oct. 21) with eight kills and three digs … opened the final weekend of October with 12 kills, seven digs and one assisted against Louisville (Oct. 28) … followed that performance with a career-high 18 kills on 40 swings against Notre Dame (Oct. 30) where she also recorded seven digs and one assisted block … closed with seven kills and five assisted blocks against NC State (Nov. 4) … capped off her 10th double-digit kill outing, seventh in league play, by adding 11 digs against No. 12 North Carolina (Nov. 6). Was a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection and PrepVolleyball.com’s No. 20 Senior Ace in 2013, while capturing an Under Armour first team All-America selection … set the Winter Park High School record for kills in a season as a senior while earning a first team All-Central Florida accolades as a junior, helping her team to a state runner-up finish … set the school record for kills in a match at 42 … named the runner-up for the Class 8A Player of the Year award.
Ambrose was an outside hitter for the Orlando Volleyball Academy which won the AAU National Championship in 2011.
