Redshirt Junior Season at Florida State (2016-17):

  • Started all 35 games in her first playing year at Florida State.

  • Major: African American Studies (Post-Baccalaureate).
  • Has two brothers and one sister.
  • Her mother, Bridgette, played basketball at the University of Houston and finished her collegiate career at Grambling.
  • Her father, Larry, played at Grambling and then enjoyed a pro career that spanned 12 years (1976-88) in the NBA and Italy.
  • He was a key part of the Washington Bullets’ 1978 NBA Championship team, averaging 9.2 points and 3.7 assists off the bench.
  • Imani’s father was drafted 14th overall in the 1976 NBA Draft.
  • Her cousin is Matt Forte, the two-time NFL Pro Bowl runningback for the New York Jets.
