A redshirt junior, Woodruff is returning from an injury that limited her to just one cross country meet and one outdoor track & field race during the 2012-13 school year.
2012: Competed in the season-opening Covered Bridge Open and placed 22nd in 19:50, but missed the remainder of the season with an injury. 2011: Emerged as the alternate at the NCAA South Region and NCAA Championship meets after a stellar season…competed in five meets and was FSU’s No. 1 finisher at Covered Bridge Open and FSU Invitational (6thoverall, 18:00.76) in 5k events…competed at Clemson Invitational/Pre-ACC and Pre-Nationals…placed 39th at ACC Championships – eighth on team – in 6k personal-best (21:23.8). 2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.
2013: Injury limited schedule to one event, but established a huge personal-best in the 1500m at the FSU Invitational (4:33.29). 2012:Outdoor – competed in five meets and emerged as one of the top 10 steeplechase performers in FSU history…highlight of season came at Florida Relays with sixth-place showing in 3000 steeplechase, in personal-best 10:38.78, which is No. 8 on FSU’s all-time list…ran 4:36.82 in 1500m at Seminole Invitational…placed 11th at ACC Championships in steeplechase (10:48.17). Indoor – set a new 3000m PR indoors at the Spire Invitational (9:40.54)…also logged her indoor mile PR at Auburn Invitational (5:02.48)…placed 11th at ACC Indoor Championships in the 3000 (9:48.10). 2011: established five new personal bests between the indoor and outdoor seasons as a redshirt freshman. 2010: sat out season as a redshirt.
Enjoyed an outstanding career at Trinity Prep in cross country and track, setting school records in cross country (5k), the 1600m and 800m…8th and 9th as a senior and junior at the 1A State cross country meet…earned All-State honors in track her final three seasons in the 800…a two-time member of the All-Central Florida Cross Country team…selected Trinity Prep Athlete of the Year as a senior…majoring in Exercise Science…born Sept. 26, 1991.
