PERFORMANCE PROFILE

Second-year-year member of the women’s distance program after overcoming injury which sidelined her for two-plus years…was a three-time state cross country championships qualifier at Winter Springs High….pre-med student who is on track to earn her undergrad degree next fall.

2017-18

Cross Country: Made her first cross country start since her 2014 high school senior season at the FSU Invitational with a respectable time of 20:33.2…competed in her first 6k at the Crimson Classic in the only other start of the season. Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Lined up for the 1500 at the FSU Relays in her lone meet and ran 5:17.62.

 

Personal:

Has returned to competitive team running for first time since graduating from Winter Springs High in 2015…has been training and competing in road races since being cleared from injury…claimed Celebration Half-Marathon title (1:30) in her first attempt at 13.1-mile distance…won multiple team, Seminole Athletic Conference and state honors in high school…active at FSU in Hillel and Alpha Epsilon Delta…fixture on the Dean’s List…on the pre-medical track at FSU as family & child science major with a minor in chemistry…aspires to become a surgeon…daughter of Phil and Rosanne Karr…born Sept. 12, 1996.
