Third-year member of the program is coming off her best cross country and track seasons in 2015-16 school year…a strong offseason will provide her an opportunity to compete for a spot on the travel roster.
Cross Country: Competed in two meets with the highlight coming at the Mountain Dew Invitational where she covered the 5k course in 19:38.9. Indoor: did not compete. Outdoor: saw action in four meets while competing in a range of races from 1500-5000 meters…posted personal-best 1500 (4:51.33) at the Seminole Invitational and followed up with a 5000 PB (18:27.57) the next day…finished 10th in the 3000 (10:34.02) at the Tom Jones Memorial.
Cross Country: Lined up three times as a freshman for the Noles, registering her top 5k performance at the Mountain Dew Invitational (20:39)…also competed at the FSU Invitational and Charlotte Invitational. Indoor: did not compete. Outdoor:posted a PB in the 800 (2:29.44) at the FSU Relays in her track debut for the Noles and also ran 5:06.06 1500…lowered her 1500 personal-best to 4:57.71 at the Tom Jones Memorial.
Outstanding student majoring in criminology and sociology…made the President’s List (4.00 GPA) as both a freshman and sophomore at FSU…standout at Archbishop McCarthy where she was a two-time state qualifier in both track and cross country…born March 19, 1996.
