As a freshman swam for FGCU at the 2017 CCSA Championships, finishing with her career-best time of 2:05.19 in the 200 IM…placed first in the 400 IM (4:33.91) in a meet against Florida Atlantic…earned a first place finish in the 200 Breast (2:21.36) and a second place finish in the 100 Breast (1:05.84) in a meet against Miami (Fla.)…competed in the Georgia Tech Invitational…finished fourth in the 100 Breast (1:05.91) in a meet against Southern California, CSU Bakersfield and Oregon State…competed in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast, 100 Fly and 200 IM at the NSU Sharks All-Florida Invitational.

High School

Holds three records at Westminster Academy including the 200 IM, 100 breast and as a part of the 200 medley relay…was the 2016 Pinnacle Award Winner…won bronze in the 100 breast at the 2016 FHSAA 1A State Championships earning All-American honors…was First-Team All County Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald…was the regional champ in the 100 breast in 2016.

Born Jan. 4, 1998…daughter of David and Sally Zubero…a three-time Scholastic All-American…father and uncle competed for Spain in the three Olympics…uncle Martin won gold in the 200 back in 1992 and her father David won bronze in the 100 fly in 1980…graduated Magna Cum Lauden and Summa Cum Laude and on the honor roll during all four years at Westminster Academy…a member of National Honors Society…plays piano and was a member of the Key Club…a member of Swim Fort Lauderdale where she is coached by Dave Gibson
