Winding down one of the most decorated careers in FSU history…was the No. 2 East Prelim qualifier in the 1500 with PR of 4:10.79 set at Payton Jordan Invitational…finished 7th in the 1500 at the East Prelims with a time of 4:16.29, qualifying for Eugene…coming off NCAA Indoor runner-up finish in the mile in ACC record time of 4:31.08…member of ACC Indoor record-setting DMR…was seventh in 1500 at 2012 NCAA Outdoors…was All-ACC, All-South Region and All-American in cross country.

Enters her final season of eligibility having already cemented her legacy as one of the top distance runners in Florida State history

  • Twice broke the school record in the mile run during the 2013 indoor season, highlighted by her NCAA Indoor Championships runner-up finish in an FSU and ACC record 4:31.08…set an ACC Championship meet record in a successful defense of her 2011 ACC Indoor Championship title in the 3000 meters (9:08.13), which also qualified her for the NCAA Championship, where she finished 15th
  • Blistered a leadoff 1200-meter leg in the distance medley as the Seminoles set an FSU and ACC record en route to the indoor conference title in 10:57.41
  • Earned All-American honors in cross country for the third time in her career, placing 17th at the 2011 NCAA Championship meet as the Seminoles earned a fifth consecutive podium finish
  • Set the wheels in motion for a big senior season when she earned All-American honors in the 1500 at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing seventh…qualified for the finals with a personal-best time of 4:13.08
  • Has stock-piled accolades throughout her career, including: three-time cross country All-American; two-time first-team indoor All-American; one first-team outdoor track All-American; three-time All-South Region cross country, including 2011 title, and is a five-time ACC track champion
  • Been a driving force behind team success as cross country team has won four ACC and three NCAA South Region titles, while finishing no lower than fourth at NCAA Championships…FSU has four ACC indoor runner-up team finishes to go with two runner-up and one third place showing outdoors

Junior made her first NCAA Indoor Championships appearance at 3000 meters after placing fifth in the mile in 2011…posted an automatic qualifying time of 9:09.83 at the SPIRE Invitational…has had an outstanding indoor season on the heels of an All-American cross country campaign…would have qualified for nationals in the mile based on her team-leading 4:37.30…won the ACC Championship at 3000 meters (9:27.96), pulling away from the pack over the final 800…also lent a blazing 4:34 1600 split to FSU’s ACC record-setting distance medley relay team (11:08.17)…wonderful combination of speed and strength enables her to move around through distance events.

Personal

Has earned All-ACC Academic honors in cross country and track every semester, as well as USTFCCCA All-Academic cross country honors for three consecutive years…has been on the Dean’s List at the conclusion of each of her five semesters at FSU…majoring in sport management and aspires to a coaching career…enjoys drawing and painting…starred for Georgia AAAAA powerhouse Collins Hill, contributing to four of the program’s six consecutive state cross country titles…was 2008 Gatorade Gross Country Running of the Year after winning the individual title as a senior…also won the Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional title, qualifying for the national championship meet…won back-to-back 1600 and 3200 AAAAA state titles as a junior and senior in track…earned All-American honors in the mile as well as a member of her school’s 4×800 relay team…claimed Nike Outdoor Nationals All-American honors in the two-mile and as a member of the winning distance medley relay…was a high school teammate of current `Nole Jackie Drouin…born Dec. 10, 1990.
