Bio

Arguably the most decorated high school distance runner in Nebraska history, she contributed to FSU’s top-ranked cross country team as well as indoor track…coming off an indoor season where she helped FSU set the ACC Championship record in the distance medley relay (11:08.17), running the 800-meter leg…scored an eighth-place finish in the mile at the ACC meet as well…competed in five meets, including the Razorback Invitational, where she established a collegiate-best in 4:43.46…has ability to compete from 1500- to 5000 meters outdoors.

Personal

Starred for Scottsbluff High in cross country and track…was a two-time Nebraska Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year and two-time Gatorade Cross Country Athlete of the Year…won nine state championships in her career, between cross country (three) and track…her 14:22.2 4k cross country state championship time in 2010 is the Nebraska state record for all classifications…won the state 1600 and 3200 meter titles three times each…her 4:50.06 1600 standard in 2011 is the all-time Nebraska state mark for all classifications…was featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces In The Crowd for her track prowess…posted a PR in the 1500 meters at the Junior Nationals (4:26.37)…as a junior won the seeded section of the famed Arcadia Invitational in the 1600 meters…is the school record holder in the 800 (2:16) as well…majoring in exercise science with an eye on becoming a physical therapist…was selected to the Presiden’t List after earning a 4.0 gpa in her firest season at FSU…active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes…father James Worden played wide receiver at Nebraska…born June 21, 1992.
