PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Brings a lot of momentum into her 2013 junior year after establishing a school record in the weight throw and will vie for NCAA Championship qualifying marks in both the hammer and weight throw.

2013

Outdoor: Established new personal-bests in each of her first two hammer competitions, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Florida Relays…moved to No. 3 on FSU’s all-time list with her mark of 52.77m (173-1)…placed seventh at the ACC Championships (52.07) for the runner-up ‘Noles; the third time in four conference meets she scored in an event.

Indoor: Wasted no time establishing her presence when she uncorked a weight throw school-record mark at the Auburn Invitational (19.06m/62-6.50) at the second competition of the season…went on to earn a fifth-place showing at the ACC Championships (18.75m) for the runner-up Seminoles.

2012

Outdoor: Competed in eight meets during the season while focusing on the hammer throw…progressed throughout the season, which was highlighted by a second-place finish at the Bob Pollock Invitational with a personal-best mark of 50.20m (164-8)…placed third at Seminole Invitational with a mark of 49.39m.

Indoor: Made her collegiate debut in the weight throw, highlighted by a sixth-place finish at the ACC Championships with a personal-best mark of 18.14m (59-6.25)…helped the ‘Noles to a second-place team finish.

Personal

Spent her true freshman season as a redshirt, building strength and improving technique as she transitioned from a high school shot put and discus competitor to the weight throw and hammer…enjoyed solid career at Naples High, winning district and regional titles in both the shot and discus as a junior and senior…placed third at 2010 3A state meet in the shot put and eighth in the discus in 2009…a Creative Writing major who aspires to a career in broadcast journalism…born Feb. 26, 1992.
