A versatile graduate transfer from Oklahoma State who will bolster the throws group indoors and outdoors…was a 2017 NCAA Championships qualifier in the discus…a six-time All-Big 12 Performer, including three times in the discus, twice in the shot put and once in the javelin…Lithuania native has won a national title in the discus.

BEFORE FSU:

Coming off her finest collegiate season in 2017 at Oklahoma State…was 20th at NCAA Championships in the discus in her first appearance at the meet…also qualified for NCAA West Preliminary in the shot put…advanced to the Big 12 Outdoor Championship finals in three events, scoring in the discus (fifth) and shot put (seventh)…was fourth in the shot put at the Big 12 Indoor Championships…posted personal-bests in five of six throws events in 2017…PBs are: indoor shot (15.24m/50-0), outdoor shot (15.56/51-0.5), discus (54.62/179-2.25), hammer (47.47/155-8.75), weight throw (16.13/52-11) and javelin (44.76/146-10)…all but weight throw and hammer would rank among FSU’s top 10.

PERSONAL:

Earned her undergraduate degree in management from Oklahoma State…was a three-time First-Team All-Big 12 Academic selection (2015-17)…in addition to excelling in the throws she also competed in swimming at Adolfas Sapoka Gymnasium…is long-time friends with FSU senior jumper and fellow Lithuanian Jogaile Petrokaite…the daughter of Arunas and Vita Zarankaite…was coached by her mother…born Nov. 23, 1994.
