Sophomore earned second-team All-American honors in the long jump at her second NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance, placing 13th to cap a breakout season..finished 11th at NCAA Indoor Championships…nine of 11 marks outdoors prior to the NCAA Championships eclipsed her previous career best.
Outdoor: Qualified for NCAA Championships with East Preliminary leap of 6.29m (20-7.75), good for seventh…was ACC Championship runner-up with slightly windy 6.52m (21-4.75) capping a mosnter series which included a legal PB (6.50m/21-4) on first attempt…ranks No. 4 outdoors all-time at FSU. Indoor: Earned second-team All-American honors in long jump with 11th-place finish at NCAA Championships (6.19m/20-3.75)…earned NCAA Indoor berth with PB 6.34m (20-9.75) at the Tyson Invitational for the college section win section…ranks eighth all-time on FSU’s indoor long jump list…finished fourth at ACC Indoor Championships…has exceeded her collegiate-best marks from 2015 (indoors and outdoors) in all four meets.
Outdoor: Placed 22nd in first NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance..qualified with a timely 6.08m mark on final attempt following two fouls at NCAA East Preliminary…placed seventh at ACC Outdoor Championships…season-best 6.09 mark came at Longhorn Invitational. Indoor: Top long jump mark of freshman season came at ACC Championships (5.88m).
