PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Fourth-year member of the program competing in her third season of cross country and as a middle distance runner on the track…competed in three cross country races last fall…focuses primarily on the 800 but has run everything from the 400-1500, pitching in on the 4×400 relay as well…outstanding student academically.

2016-17

Cross Country: Lined up three times in the fall, competing at the Mountain Dew and FSU Invitationals, as well as the Crimson Classic; the first 6k of her career…best finish came at home when she ran 21:51.4. Indoors: competed in two meets, pulling the 400-800 double in the opening Clemson Invitational…also ran 800 at Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational. Outdoors: saw action in four meets, almost exclusively in the 800…her SB (2:19.46) came at the FSU Relays.

2015-16

Cross Country: Made her FSU debut at the Mountain Dew Invitational, covering the 5k course in 20:50.0…lowered her 5k PB at home when she ran 20:42.3 at the FSU Invitational. Indoors:  Ran three 800s in her first season on the boards and popped her season-best in the finale at the ACC Championships (2:17.23), where she also contributed a leg to the 4×400. Outdoors: Saw action in seven meets, including the ACC Championships at home, where the Noles won the team title…once again registered her PB at the ACC meet, rolling 2:14.81 in the 800…also competed on the 4×400…made the most of two opportunities in the 1500, racing to a PB (5:03.66) at the Seminole Invitational.

2014-15

Sat out both the cross country and track & field seasons as a redshirt.

Personal:

An outstanding student-athlete who distinguished herself on the track and in the classroom at Jacksonville’s Stanton Prep Academy…finished fourth at the 3A state meet in the 800 as a junior, when she ran her PB of 2:15.63 for the Region title…was poised for a big senior season on the track, following her first cross country campaign, before it was cut short by injury…posted senior season best 2:16.50 to win 2014 Bob Hayes Invitational…won the 2012 AAU Club Nationals title in the 800 and was the silver medalist in 2013 where she 2:16.29 in the prelims representing the First Coast Track Club…at Florida State is on the pre-med track, majoring in Chemical Science and was on the Dean’s List in the fall of 2016…a multi-time ACC Academic honor roll recipient…active in the Black Student Union and is joining M.A.P.S. (Minority Association of Pre-Med Students)…born July 9, 1996.
