Enrolled at Florida State in January 2017…holds the Paraguayan youth and junior national records in the javelin as well as the South American youth record, which she set in 2012…will likely sit out the spring as a redshirt freshman.

Registered her lifetime-best javelin throw of 52.19 meters (171-2) at Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro last May, placing sixth at the Iberoamericano Championships…was U23 silver medalist at the 2016 South American Championships…won gold at the South American Junior Championships in 2015…in all, owns two golds, a silver and two bronze medals in her age group at the South American Championships…owns 10 marks in excess of 50 meters over her career…represented Parguay at the 2014 IAAF World Junior Championships in Eugene, Ore…outstanding athlete who has competed in both handball and swimming…daughter of Lucia Meza and Raul Paredes…considering speech and psychology as course of study at FSU…born August 30, 1996.
