Seminoles Earn Honors in Baseball and Softball

Henderson and White recognized for outstanding performances.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State baseball player Terry Henderson earned
Player of the Week honors and softball player Jennifer White garnered
Pitcher of the Week honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference for their
outstanding performances on the week.

Henderson, a senior designated hitter from Melbourne, Fla., batted .667
(12-for-18) with 14 RBI and six runs scored as the baseball team went 6-0
on the week. He also contributed a triple and two home runs and had six
consecutive hits in the Wake Forest series.

White led the Seminoles to the Florida State Invitational Championship
with a 7-1 record and 1.01 ERA on the week. The freshman held opponents to
a .203 batting average while recording 28 strikeouts. White was named Most
Valuable Player honors of the FSU Invitational with a 5-0 record in
tournament play.
