Florida State leads the Demon Deacons 12-2-1 in series history…Dan Kendra passed for 281 yards and three TDs as he made his first career start in a 44-7 victory versus the Demon Deacons last season…WR Peter Warrick also got his first career start as Andre Cooper suffered a knee injury in pre-game warmups …the Seminoles are averaging 52.2 points per game against the Deacons since joining the ACC…FSU has held Wake Forest to 14 points or less in the last seven meetings and 11 of the last 12…the Seminoles have shutout Wake Forest four times in the series…in FSU’s 42-24 win over the Deacons in 1968, FSU All-American wide receiver Ron Sellers set four FSU records that still stand when he caught five TD passes, scored 30 points and totaled 260 yards receiving…Wake Forest head coach Jim Caldwell faced the Seminoles as an assistant coach at Penn State in the 1990 Blockbuster Bowl.
