TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The No. 4 Florida State Seminoles held their final
practice before the Christmas holiday Saturday morning for 12 periods in
helmets ans sweats. The practice was followed with the team running eight
“gassers”.



After pre-practice stretching the team broke into position segments,
working on short-yardage and goaline situations. Punt and kickoff return
was the primary emphasis during special team drills.



Coach Bobby Bowden was not at the practice, due to a prior commitment to
teach at a clinic in the Orlando area. Tay Cody (DB), Marvin Minnis (WR),
Damon Carroll (FB), Laveranues Coles (WR), E.G. Green (WR) and Khalid
Abdullah (FB) were held out of the workouts due to injury.



The team will practice one last time in Tallahassee upon returning back
to town following the holidays. the lst practice will take place on
December 26th prior to the departure for New Orleans.
