Former FSU Players to Compete on Wheel of Fortune “NFL Players Week”

CULVER CITY, CA — Former Florida State quarterback Brad Johnson and
runningback Edgar Bennett will join host Pat Sajak and Vanna White and 10
other NFL players on Wheel of Fortune’s second annual “NFL Players Week.”
The shows, which were taped November 18, 1997, will air Super Bowl week,
January 19-23.

Bennett, a star back for the NFC champion Green Bay Packers, will appear
on January 19, while Johnson, the starting quarterback for the Minnesota
Vikings, will appear on January 20.

Bennett will be spinning the wheel for the Mount Bethel Missionary
Baptist Church and Johnson for The Eblen Foundation.

Other NFL players taking part are: Desmond Howard (Oakland Raiders),
Terrell Davis (Denver Broncos), Jerome Bettis (Pittsburgh Steelers), Mike
Alstott (Tampa Bay Buccaneers). Keyshawn Johnson (New York Jets), Daryl
Johnston (Dallas Cowboys), Kevin Greene (San Francisco 49ers), Irving Fryar
(Philadelphia Eagles), Chad Brown (Seattle Seahawks) and Jim Flanigan (Chicago Bears).
