Busby Continues to Impress in Practice

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Third-ranked Florida State continued two-a-day
practices with a pair of workouts in shells on Thursday.

“We had a couple of solid workouts today,” said FSU Head Coach Bobby
Bowden. “We were able to correct a lot of our mistakes from Wednesday’s
scrimmage and did quite a bit of work on fundamentals.”

Senior quarterback Thad Busby continued to look sharp throwing the ball
as he completed several long passes during seven-on-seven and skeleton
passing drills.

“Busby threw the ball extremely well again today,” said Bowden. “He
picked up right where he left off in the scrimmage yesterday. He is much
further along than he was at this point last year.”

The Seminoles will practice twice again tomorrow. The workouts will be
held between Florida State’s annual kickoff luncheon that begins at 11:15
a.m. in the Leon County Civic Center.

INJURY REPORT: DE Andre Wadsworth sat out both practices with a mild
right knee sprain; DE Roland Seymour sat out both practices with a sore
right knee; WR Marvin Minnis did not practice due to a sprained right
ankle; RB Travis Minor did not practice due to a sprained right ankle as
well; DT Corey Simon (left shoulder), FS Dexter Jackson (neck burner) and
CB Coronta Cody (left shoulder) all went through drills but were held out
of contact; WR Laveranues Coles returned to practice after missing the
