Rolle Earns ACC Player of the Week Honors

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State cornerback Samari Rolle was selected
Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Back of the Week by a committee of the
league’s sportswriters after helping lead the Seminoles to a 47-0 victory
over Miami.

Rolle intercepted two passes in the win over the Hurricanes. His second
pick came on the eight-yardline in the fourth quarter which stopped a Miami
drive to preserve the shutout. Rolle tallied three tackles, including two
solo stops, all of which were on third down. The Miami native also broke
up a pass and was named “Tomahawk Player of the Game” by defensive coaches.
