Florida State Singles Tennis Players Eliminated from ACC Indoor Tennis Tournament

Seminoles Next Match January 31st.

CLEMSON, SC— Junior Davidson Kozlowski advanced to the second round of
the Atlantic Coast Conference Coaches’ Indoor Tennis Tournament by beating
Tommy Croker of Virginia 6-2, 1-6, 6-3. However, he was eliminated 6-3, 6-0
by Matt Cozad of Georgia Tech, Friday at the Hoake Sloan Tennis Center.



In other first round matches, freshman Chad Mooney fell to David Bollick
of NC State 6-2, 6-1. Sophomore Jay Travis lost to Andres Pedroso of Duke
in a close three game set 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, and freshman Gerald Casas fell to
Jimmy Chou of Wake Forest 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.



The Seminoles will resume dual match play on January 30st against
Jacksonville at 2:30 a.m. and Old Dominion at 2:00 p.m. in Tallahassee at
the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
