In Memory of Ronalda Pierce
Tony Hobbs – Ashburn GA.
First of all I want to again say to Linda, Roy, and the rest of Ronalda’s family how much I feel for you in this time of sorrow. At the same time I want to thank you for giving Ronalda to the world. This young lady has had such a tremendous effect on Kim and myself. Kim and I truely loved her like a daughter and we were so very proud of her. I was so pleased when I was given the job of head girls basketball coach for her senior year at Turner Co. I knew that it is not often that one gets a chance to coach such a talent. The thing that I quickly learned from Ronalda was that she was a talent in more ways than one. Ronalda taught me so much about myself and for that I will be forever greatful.

Roy & Linda:
I know that your deep faith in a higher power will make each day a little less painful. Leary Road will never be the same without “Nalda”. Trust in the God that your Mother so deeply depended on to help you make it day-by-day. Our prayers are with you.
Gequetta Hicks – Suitland, Maryland
Although I did not know Ronalda personally, she was my niece Alicia Gladden’s roommate. I enjoyed watching her play on TV and in person when they came to Maryland. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and the Seminole team as a whole. May God continue to comfort and keep you all and remember Psalms 121 for the comfort that you may need.
Jenn Toepfer – Tracy, California
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pierce family as well as to Coach Semrau and the FSU family. Just by what I have read I can tell that Ronalda was a fine young lady. Take comfort in the fact that she is safe in the arms of Jesus, and for those who also know HIM it is not a goodbye, it’s an I will see you later. May God bless you all.

God blessed her in the few years she experienced during her life. During those years, she was awarded exceptional athletic talents – one only hopes her time was full and rewarding. God bless the family and condolences to all members of both the Pierce family and the extended family at Florida State University.

Ronalda was sent to this earth to liven the lives of those around her. Florida State University was lucky to have such a wonderful person grace their team with a skill that she loved with all of her heart. Many thoughts and prayers to all of Ronalda’s family and friends. She was an excellent athlete and a role model for many great athletes also.
