In Memory of Ronalda Pierce
Santanu Datta (Durham, NC)
To The Pierce Family:
My deepest condolences for your tragic loss. As a parent I can only imagine the grief you must be feeling at the loss of your child. However, I hope you eventually find comfort in the fact that she is with God in heaven.

Debra Bogan – Deerfield Beach, Fla.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I was devastated to hear of this promising young lady’s passing. I didn’t know her personally, but did have the opportunity to watch her play a couple of times this year. It’s so sad to see a young person leave us so soon, but I hope that the family will find the strength to get through this tough time.
David Dickey (Tallahassee)
Although I did not know Ronalda personally, I am saddened at the loss of a very young and talented person who obviously impacted a lot of lives. To Ronalda’s family, and to all of my friends in the athletic department, especially Angie, Sue and the rest of the lady Noles, you are the focus of my prayers. Once again, our loss is Heaven’s gain.
Andrew (Beaufort, SC)
Terribly sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Edith Yancey – Tallahassee, FL
My prayers are with both families (natural and basketball) of Ronalda Pierce. I thank God for allowing you to have her for the short time that you did. Her death is hard to accept at this time, but God wants some of the best for HIMSELF. I pray that God will give you the strength to endure and comfort in knowing that her life was not in vain. She is with the one who loved her the most.
Love you, Edith Yancey
Sorry to hear about the loss of one of your loved ones, but remeber that Ronalda is a child of God and is in a better place now. God will take good care of her. Be strong and hold on, God is good.
All my love – Tishay Lewis

Dorian “Shante'” Williams (Jacksonville, Fl)
Ronalda was a sweet and caring person. She was more than a teammate to me she was a sister-like friend. No words can express the way that I feel during this tragic time.
To the Pierce family, I love you all and remember that as long as Ice and I play that Ronalda is playing with us. We came here together to get some things accomplished and now that Ronalda is not here physically, she will be our sixth man.
David (Baltimore, MD)

God Bless…The Seminole Family will never forget you…Rest in Peace…
Do not stand on my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in the circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
