Florida State Women’s Tennis Players Fall at ACC Indoor Championships

Freshman Nanette Duxin loses in the quarterfinals

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Freshman Nanette Duxin lost in the quarterfinals of the
Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Championships to Karen Goldstein of Duke
6-2, 6-2, Saturday at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

The doubles team of Duxin and Natalie Carratala were also eliminated,
8-6, in their second round match versus #2 seed Christie Schweer and Leslie
Cook of Virginia.

The lady Seminoles take the court again on February 7th when they open
dual-match play against Georgia Southern at noon in Tallahassee at the
Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
