Florida State Volleyball Continues to Win

TALLAHASSEE, FL — The Florida State University volleyball team improved
to 7-0 with a dominating three-set victory over visiting Georgia Southern
this evening at Tully Gymnasium. It took just 53 minutes for the 15-5,
15-0, 15-3 Florida State victory. With the loss, Georgia Southern falls to
1-7 on the season.

LaToya Presberry, who was honored as the Atlantic Coast Conference Player
of the Week on Monday, was once again unstoppable, hitting .600 for the
match with a match-leading 10 kills. She also led all players with five
digs. Eleven players in all played in the match for FSU contributing to an
impressive .537 team hitting performance.

Florida State will host Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m on Friday and Georgia
State at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. With its current 7-0 record, the Tribe is
just one win away from tying its best start in school history. In 1982,
FSU started the season 8-0 and finished the season with a 27-17 record.
