CLEMSON, S.C – The Florida State Women’s Tennis Team fell to No.26 Clemson today 5-2 at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Clemson, S.C.

In doubles, juniors Carolina De los Santos and Francesca Segarelli dominated in their match as they defeated Klara Vyskocilova and Monika Kochanova 8-1 on court three. Clemson would claim the other two matches with closer scores as No.20 Josipa Bek and Keri Wong defeated freshman Mia Vriens and junior Amy Sargeant 9-7 on court one. On court two, Beatrice Gumulya and Romy Kolzer beat freshman Leyla Erkan and Ruth Seaborne, 8-6.

The Seminoles would win two singles matches on the day behind the rackets of Segarelli and De Los Santos. Segarelli defeated No. 103 Nelly Ciolkowski 6-2, 6-2 on court three while De Los Santos worked from court six beating Kolzar, 6-3, 6-3.

The Seminoles will return to Tallahassee for their next match, which is scheduled for March 17 against Georgia Tech at 11 a.m. Check back to Seminoles.com and Twitter (FSU_WTennis) for more updates.
