Florida State was back on the intramural fields Thursday afternoon after inclement weather cost the Seminoles' their Wednesday practice.
Here are a few observations from the first 20 minutes of practice that is open to the media:
-Sophomore running back James Wilder, Jr. was at practice and in pads for the first time this spring. In the walk-throughs we watched before stretching drills, the Tampa native did not take part in of the scripted plays but was on the second-team kick-off unit.
-Speaking of the walk-through, Daniel Glauser replaced Cameron Erving at left tackle for the last few drills.
-Glauser's insertion into the first-team offensive line wasn't the only change. Bobby Hart rotated with Bryan Stork at right tackle and Stork rotated with Austin Barron at center. Again, can't stress this enough. The moves and changes along the offensive line don't spell out anything specific. It just means that each of these guys are getting repetitions and opportunities to show what they can do.
-In the "it has no bearing on football" department, senior kicker Dustin Hopkins has a freshly shaved head.
