Elizabeth Hartsock joined the Florida State University Athletics Department in January of 2008 as an Accounting Specialist. She was elevated to Assistant Athletics Director/Business Manager in November of 2010. In her current position, she manages the day-to-day operations of the Business Office while overseeing eight full-time staff members and several student assistants.As Assistant Athletics Director / Business Manager, Hartsock is responsible for preparing and analyzing the Department of Education’s Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) and the NCAA financial report. She also is responsible for the university athletic financial statement preparation and oversees and manages the external athletics’ audit.
Hartsock earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala. Prior to coming to Florida State, she worked in the public accounting sector where she prepared a variety of tax returns and worked on multiple audits of governmental, non-for-profit, and financial organizations and businesses.
She is a current member of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA).
