Sept. 29, 2004
Last Friday, four student-athletes went to the Dick Howser Center to visit the children they would be raising money for in the upcoming Celebrity Waiter dinner to be held Sunday, September 26th. Football’s Chris Rix and Dominic Robinson were accompanied by softball’s Tatiana George and Carly Brieske.
The Dick Howser Center is a non-profit organization that provides therapy, training, and educational instruction to children who show developmental impediment. Every year a Celebrity Waiter dinner is held to raise money for this wonderful organization, inviting local celebrities and student athletes to attend. The athletes had a great time playing and mingling with the children and were excited to further the cause, by attending the Celebrity Waiter dinner on Sunday.
