TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State swimming and diving head coach Neal Studd has announced that registration for his summer swim camp is now open. Studd, who has run camps for over a decade, brings the tradition to the Morcom Aquatics Center for the first time in history.
Three sessions of camp will be available this summer, running through June 5-9, June 10-14 and June 19-23. Each session will be capped at 80 swimmers.
“I love camps,” Studd said. “It’s a great opportunity for us to work with younger kids and really teach what we love. I am very excited to bring swim camps to FSU and based on the feedback so far, swimmers really want to come. It will be an awesome opportunity for kids to come and learn from one of the nation’s most rapidly improving team.”
In addition to Studd, assistants Ozzie Quevedo and Tiffany Clay will be instructors while Dan Carrington will serve at the director.
Camp is open to boys and girls above the age of seven. It includes dryland training, classroom sessions and other activities with a coach to swimmer ratio of one-to-10. Half day, full day and overnight options are available.
Additional features are offered for a fee, including video analysis and private lessons. Team camps within the sessions are also available.
Discounts are also available. More information can be found on the camp’s website, fsuswimcamp.com.
