TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Those interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look at the Florida State volleyball team and its journey to the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference can tune in to Sun Sports on Sunday at 1 p.m. for “Seminole Gametime: Volleyball Team.”
In addition to a story on senior middle blocker Brianna Barry, the show will highlight the ‘Noles recent victory over Duke at home in a match that put FSU in the driver’s seat in the ACC.
Fans will also get a chance to see what the girls are like off the court and will get an inside look at film study for a program that has experienced a remarkable turnaround over the course of the last year and a half.
“Our Florida State volleyball program feels very honored and excited to be highlighted behind the scenes,” said FSU head coach Chris Poole, who has his team just one win shy of an automatic NCAA Tournament berth entering Friday night’s match against Boston College. “There has been a lot of work that went into rebuilding this program and I appreciate the tremendous support of the administration and the community this season.
“I am very fortunate to be surrounded by great assistants and a support staff that play such an important role every day.”
This weekend’s feature on the volleyball program is the third such show focusing on a Florida State team that Sun Sports will have aired this fall season. The football and soccer teams have already been highlighted.
