ORLANDO – Sunshine Network gives viewers comprehensive coverage this week
of the weekend’s big intrastate showdown between the Florida State
Seminoles and the Miami Hurricanes in Tallahassee.
Sunshine’s gameday coverage kicks off Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. with
BUBBA BURGER COLLEGE KICKOFF broadcasting LIVE from inside Doak Campbell
Stadium, site of the Miami/FSU game. Hosts Frank Frangie and Terry
Norvelle will be on a set located in the northwest corner endzone of the
stadium, while co-hosts Whit Watson and Brady Ackerman will be at
Sunshine’s studios in Orlando providing additional gameday coverage of the
state’s other games. BUBBA BURGER COLLEGE KICKOFF, which also repeats at
11 a.m., will provide analysis and up-to-the-minute news and updates on
the game, plus a one-on-one interview with Hurricanes head coach Larry
Coker and a close look at FSU kicker Xavier Beitia, who has redemption on
his mind after missing what would have been the game-winning kick in last
year’s match-up. Live guests scheduled to join the show will be announced
later this week.
Immediately following the conclusion of the Miami/FSU game, Sunshine will
begin its TAILGATE SATURDAY FSU/MIAMI POSTGAME live. Tom Block will be
reporting from outside the Seminoles locker room, while Norvelle will get
postgame reaction from the Hurricanes. Postgame press conferences from
both Bobby Bowden and Larry Coker will be covered, plus interviews with
the games key players, and analysis from Sunshine’s FSU announcers.
Finally, Sunshine re-caps all the statewide games with TAILGATE SATURDAY
FOOTBALL WRAP, Saturday evening at 10 p.m., with hosts Watson and
Ackerman. All the day’s scores, highlights and additional coverage of the
Miami/FSU game will be included, plus highlights and analysis of the
Florida/LSU and UCF/Ohio games and coverage of those national and
conference games affecting Sunshine State teams.
Sunshine will be producing its own coverage of the big game on Saturday
with the network’s first statewide airing of the game scheduled during
Prime Time ‘Noles, Sunday evening at 7 p.m. and again Monday at 12:30 p.m.
Paul Kennedy provides the play-by-play and is joined in the booth by game
analyst Keith Jones plus sideline reporter Tom Block.
