FRANKLIN, Tenn. –
All-America candidate Kristin Tamulis is tied for seventh in the individual standings and the Florida State women’s golf team in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Mason Rudolph Women’s Golf Championship at the Legend’s Club. Tamulis carded a near-career low 72 in the first round and is only six strokes off the lead heading into Tuesday’s third and final round.

Florida State shot a 295-team score and was tied for second following play in the first round. Tamulis’ even-par 72 in the first round was tied for fourth in the individual standings. Tamulis (Naples, Fla.) is Florida State’s top returning golfer from last season, as she became only the eighth player in school history to earn All-ACC honors as a sophomore.

Senior Kelley Henderson was tied for seventh after the first round with one-over par score of 73. Henderson begins play on Tuesday in a tie for 31st-place. Sophomore Alison Curdt is tied with Henderson after totaling a nine-over par 153 for the first two rounds.
