We hope you enjoy the `Dagny Diaries!’
Good afternoon everyone!
I am really sad to tell you, but this is my last blog for the spring. I really hope you enjoyed my blogs because I have really enjoyed keeping you all updated on our offseason here at Florida State and how my games and all my traveling went with my national team.
We are finishing up our last week in school now and then it’s time for finals next week. We finished our last team practice on Thursday, so now we are just training by ourselves to stay in shape and prepare for our summer games. A lot of my FSU teammates will be going all over the world this summer to play soccer which will help in making sure we will all be ready when our college season starts in the fall.
I will be back home in Iceland on May 1st, but I will only stop there for two days as I will be traveling to Switzerland with my national team. We have a big game against the Swiss on May 8th that we need to win if we want to keep our dream alive of playing in the World Cup 2015. We have six qualifications games left. I will be playing four games with the national team this summer before coming back for preseason practice at Florida State in August. I will be playing a lot of soccer over the break, so there will be no summer break for me.
I hope I will see you all when our season starts in the fall. We will need all of your support and inspiration in the stands throughout the fall to help us achieve our goal of winning a National Championship!
Thanks for joining me the past four months; I had a lot of fun!
