TALLAHASSEE, Fla. − The Florida State women’s basketball program will host its third Coach Sue Project 3000 Block Party this Thursday, October 16 at 3905 Royal Oaks Court from 7:30 p.m. (ET) until the conclusion of the Florida State vs. NC State football game.
The Coach Sue Project 3000 is a campaign whose goal is to sell 3,000 season tickets to see the 2008-09 Florida State Women’s Basketball Team. The Seminoles have advanced to the NCAA Tournament each of the last four seasons. The schedule is highlighted by 17 home contests including Florida, Penn State, Texas A&M, Duke, Maryland, North Carolina and Miami.
The party is being hosted by assistant coach Cori Close at 3905 Royal Oaks Court and will feature a cookout, the opportunity to watch the Seminoles’ football game versus the Wolfpack on a big screen television as well as appearances by the women’s basketball team, the cheerleaders and Seminole Sound. Those interested in attending should bring their own blankets or chairs to the event.
FSU opens the season on November 2 with an exhibition contest against Premier Players.
