Jan. 27, 2009

The entire student ticket allotment has been distributed and fewer than 800 tickets remain for Wednesday’s Florida State’s men’s basketball game vs. No. 5 North Carolina. The contest, which will tip-off at 9:05 p.m. will be televised but only available in the Tallahassee area on Comcast Digital, WCTV-DT2 – Channel 227. The game will not be available to non-digital Comcast subscribers.

To purchase tickets for the game, go to www.seminoles.com or call the Seminole Ticket Office at 1-888-FSU-NOLE. The allotment of student tickets were distributed in just over seven hours on Tuesday.

Florida State students can purchase a $10 reserved ticket during regular business hours at the main Seminole Ticket Office located to the right of Gate B at Doak Campbell Stadium or by logging on to www.seminoles.com.

If public tickets remain available when the Civic Center ticket office opens at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening there is a possibility that additional free student tickets could be distributed at that time based on availability.

To accommodate the expected sold-out crowd for Wednesday’s game, the Donald L. Tucker Center doors will open at 7:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than normal.
