Torn ACL Takes Freshman Angel Gray Out For The Remainder Of The Season

Florida State women’s basketball coach Sue Semrau announced today that freshman Angel Gray, a 5-9 guard out of Stone Mountain, Ga., is out for the season with a torn ACL in her right knee. Gray, who suffered the injury in practice following the holiday break, played for the Seminoles in 13 games and averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. She was averaging the most minutes of all the freshmen at 18.2 minutes per game and had played 20 or more minutes in seven games.
