Squad: COED

Year: Junior

Years on Squad: 3rd

Hometown: Land O Lakes, Fla.

Reason for attending FSU: There is no other university where the aspect of core values and traditions run as deep as in Florida State University. Florida State University is the only place where I could possibly see myself spending my college career.

Why you chose to Cheer at FSU: I wanted to involve myself in the university in a way I could have never imagined. I recognized the cheerleading program as being a vital component to the landscape of traditions here at Florida State. With this, I knew exactly where I wanted to be and how I wanted to make my impact on the University.

Favorite memory with the Spirit Group: During my second year we were given the opportunity to compete at UCA Nationals in Orlando. The competition was to be two rounds and then a trophy presentation. My favorite memory was that first round of competition. The program was just so relaxed and excited it was almost as if we didn’t care whether we would win or lose. To any person walking by, one may have assumed that the competition was over and we had already won. I loved that feeling. Not to mention that when we did compete, we did an amazing job. One of the best days of my life. Hands Down.

Favorite hobby: I love to just spend time with my friends, and listening to and finding new music.

Favorite quote: “There is a BIG difference between winning a championship, and playing like a CHAMPION. You have to learn to do the last part before you can do the first.” -Charles Barkley
