TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After taking a break from competition last weekend, The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will be back in action as they head to Atlanta, Ga. this weekend to compete in the Georgia Tech Invite being held at the Campus Recreation Aquatic Center.
Nine teams will be participating, including five ACC teams. In addition to Florida State and Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Clemson and Miami will be competing. Other schools include Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast and Emory. Among the field, Emory, Georgia Tech and Clemson are the only teams the Noles haven’t competed against this season.
The meet will run similar to that of the All-Florida Invitational in a prelim/final format with three heats of finals and will include platform diving on Sunday.
Prelims on Friday and Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. with finals to start at 6 p.m. Diving will run in between the swimming events. On Sunday the meet will begin at 9 a.m. and finals will start at 3 p.m.
