Two Lady Seminoles Hit Holes-In-One Over The Weekend

Tallahassee, Fla. – One of the rarer feats on a golf course was
achieved twice on the Florida State women’s golf team last weekend at the
Suntrust Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville. Two different Lady
Seminole players hit holes-in-one on consecutive days.

Allison Zimmer had the first ace, using a five-iron on the 157-yard
eighth hole on Saturday. On Sunday, Kris Tamulis knocked a six-iron in on
the 158-yard 14th.

“It really was unbelievable,” said FSU head coach Debbie Dillman.
“I have never seen anything like it in college golf.”

Tamulis tied for 27th in the tourney while Zimmer tied for 67th.

Florida State has this weekend off before returning to tournament
competition on March 10-12 at the Casa de Campo Intercollegiate in the
Dominican Republic.
