TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State hits the road this Thanksgiving as the Seminoles head north to South Bend, Ind., to face Notre Dame in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday, November 28.
Friday’s match marks the third consecutive year the two schools have met in the postseason with the first two meetings coming in the College Cup. In 2006, Notre Dame held on for a 2-1 victory over Florida State in Cary, N.C. Last year, the Seminoles avenged that loss by downing the Irish 3-2 in College Station, Texas to advance to their first national championship game in school history.
Sun Sports was originally scheduled to air Friday’s game live but due to field conditions and ongoing construction at the site of competition the NCAA as announced that television will no longer be available for the game.
