Florida State: 12-16, 10-10 ACC
After turning its season around with seven wins in nine of the last matches, the Florida State volleyball team will hit the court for the final time this week…The Seminoles face Duke on Wednesday at 6pm before a match-up with Wake Forest on Friday at noon…Three of the last five matches have gone into Game 5 decisions…The Tribe will have a heavy task at hand this week as Duke (21-7, 15-5 ACC) and Wake Forest (17-12, 10-10 ACC) are two of the hottest teams in the league right now…The Seminoles were swept by both teams a little over a month ago…Florida State’s hitting percentage is slowing rising as it nears .200 percent…The Seminoles are hitting .196 and holding opponents to a slightly lower .189 mark…Senior Andreza Santos is averaging 3.44 kills per games and sophomore Summer Weissing paces the defense with a 4.46 dpg average…Weissing needs 26 more digs to set the Florida State single season dig record…Sophomore Makini Thompson has enjoyed an outstanding conference campaign, averaging 2.82 kills per outing…Senior Kristen Rust averages 2.54 kills and 2.69 digs per game…Senior Lauren Scott has a team-best 87 total blocks.
