THE SERIES
Maryland has a 15-7 series advantage over Florida State, but the Seminoles have won three straight over the Terrapins, including a 69-38 win on January 10th. The series dates back to the 1991-92 season. FSU is 5-5 in Tallahassee, 1-8 in College Park and 1-2 on neutral sites vs. Maryland. FSU’s only win at Cole Field House was 66-59 on Feb. 16, 1995.



THE DUKE WIN
FSU’s 71-69 win over No. 4 Duke was the Tribe’s first win over the Blue Devils since a 78-73 victory on February 25, 1994 in Tallahassee and the program’s first win over a Top 5 opponent since January 12, 1993 when FSU topped No. 3 Maryland, 68-61 in Tallahassee. Prior to FSU’s win on February 8th, Duke had won 15 straight over the Seminoles. FSU’s last win at Cameron Indoor was 84-72 on January 3, 1993. The FSU victory also snapped a 14-game home winning streak for the Blue Devils, who are 55-5 at home dating back to the 1997-98 season.



14 AND COUNTING…
FSU’s 14 wins is the program’s most since the 1991-92 season, FSU’s last winning season at 17-11. With five regular-season games remaining and at least one game in the ACC tourney, FSU is guaranteed to finish at least .500 this season which would also be the best since 1991-92.
