Women’s Basketball Heads To Chapel Heel For Meeting With The Tar Heels

The Florida State women’s basketball team will face the North Carolina Tar Heels on Monday, Feb. 4th at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised live regionally, including Sunshine Network. FSU will enter the contest with a 11-10 record overall and a 2-8 mark in the ACC while the Tar Heels are 16-6 overall and 6-4 in the league. In FSU’s trip to Chapel Hill last season, the Seminoles were 80-78 overtime victors.

THE SERIES
North Carolina has an 19-6 series advantage over Florida State, dating back to the 1981-82 season. Since FSU joined the ACC in 1991-92, UNC is 18-4 vs. the Seminoles. Last season, UNC took a 75-62 win in Tallahassee while the Tribe got revenge with an 80-78 overtime win in Chapel Hill. That win snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Tar Heels. UNC took a 93-81win over the Seminoles on Jan. 2nd.
