THE SERIES:
Duke holds a 19-6 series advantage over Florida State, including a sweep this season. The series dates back to FSU’s first season in the ACC – 1991-92. Last year, the two teams also played three times. The Blue Devils took the first meeting, 73-60, in Tallahassee while the Seminoles won 71-69 in Durham. Duke defeated FSU 72-56 in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament. This will be the fourth straight season that FSUhas faced Duke in ACC Tournament play. FSU has been eliminated by Duke in the ACC Tournament three straight seasons.
