THE SERIES Wake Forest holds a 12-8 series advantage over Florida State, but the Seminoles have won four of the six contests since Sue Semrau's arrival at Florida State. Last season, the two clubs split, each winning on their home court. In FSU's ACC opener at Wake Forest last year, the Demon Deacons pulled out a 64-59 victory. On Feb. 3rd in Tallahassee, the Seminoles won 76-47.

THE BEST START SINCE FSU's 11-3 record is its best start in a decade. In the 1990-91 season, the Seminoles started 14-2 and finished 25-7. FSU's last winning season was in 1991-92 with a record of 17-11.
