Women’s Basketball Hosts UCF on Sunday At Noon And It’s Toys For Tots Day

The Florida State Department of Athletics, in conjunction with the United State’s Marine Corp, is proud to be sponsoring “Toys for Tots Day” when the 7-1 Seminoles host UCF (5-2) on Sunday, December 9th at Noon at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center. Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy will receive free admission to the game. All the toys collected will go toward helping local needy children. FSU is also celebrating WNBA day with special recognition of former Seminoles Brooke Wyckoff (Orlando Miracle) and Levys Torres (Miami Sol). The two will hold an autograph session following the game.

Florida State has a 7-2 advantage in the series with UCF. The series dates back to the 1976-77 season. The last meeting between the two schools was in 2000-01 — a 68-37 Seminole win in Orlando.
