THE SERIES:
Sunday’s contest will be the 25th meeting between Florida State and Virginia. The Cavs lead the series 22-2. Last year, the Seminoles won their first-ever game over the Cavaliers and FSU took two of three meetings with UVA. Earlier this season, Virginia edged the Tribe, 66-62, on January 23rd. The Seminoles outrebounded the Cavaliers, 41-36, and also had their best team performance from the free throw line, going 24-of-29 for 83 percent.
