Women’s Basketball Prepares To Host League-Leading North Carolina

The Florida State women’s basketball team will ring in the New Year with a visit from the league-leading North Carolina Tar Heels on Wednesday, January 2nd at 7 p.m. The Seminoles are 10-3 overall and 1-1 in ACC play while Carolina sports a 10-2 record and a 2-0 league mark.

THE SERIES
North Carolina has an 18-6 series advantage over Florida State, dating back to the1981-82 season. Since FSU joined the ACC in 1991-92, UNC is 17-4 vs. the Seminoles. Last season, UNC took a 75-62 win in Tallahassee while the Tribe got revenge with an 80-78 overtime win in Chapel Hill. That win snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Tar Heels.
